To create opportunities that empower individuals and their families to reach their full potential.
Opportunity Matters, Inc. (OMI) is committed to its mission to create opportunities that empower individuals and their families to reach their full potential.
Established in 1980 and based in Sartell, MN, Opportunity Matters' focus has always been to assure the full participation of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of community life and to promote their freedom to access quality supports and services necessary to advance personal growth, independence and productivity. Opportunity Matters' programs serve people of all ages with the help of thoroughly trained staff dedicated to provide the highest quality of care possible.
Our Client Care Philosophy:
The Opportunity Matters Standard of Care starts by listening to the expectations and needs of the individual being served, their family members and other support people.
The Opportunity Matters Standard of Care is maintained by designing programming that meets the needs of the individual being served, not fitting an individual to a program.
The Opportunity Matters Standard of Care assures that individuals being served flourish by providing the opportunity to utilize their individual skills in a manner that will promote a healthier and more independent lifestyle.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"I have been working with Opportunity Matters for close to a decade. I visit their homes probably 8-12 times a year and many of these visits are unannounced. In all of those visits I have never seen anything but kindness and professionalism from OMI's staff towards their clients. I am happy to personally donate to OMI's fundraising efforts as I feel they are a caring and professional asset to some of this communities most vulnerable members."
