Job Title: Office Cleaner 

Reports To: Operations Director

Position Status: Part-Time

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt

Working Environment:   75  Indoors (%)    25  Outdoors (%)

Position Summary: The Office Cleaner is responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk

Education Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Previous Experience Requirements: Related experience is preferred

Ability Requirements:

• Lift at least 50 pounds

• Able to observe visually

• Able to hear

• Gross body coordination 

Other Knowledge & Skill Requirement:

• Maintains a valid Class D driver's license is preferred

• Reads and understands, speaks fluently, and writes legibly the English language

Essential Job Functions:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming

•  Gather & empty trash

•  Service, clean, and supply restrooms

•  Clean & polish furniture and fixtures

•  Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

•  Dust furniture, walls, and equipment

•  Mix water & detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications

•  May need to assist with the cleaning & restoring of building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water, using commercial cleaning equipment

•  Requisition supplies & equipment needed for cleaning & maintenance duties
